Purple Pour

The Purple Pour is a unique painting experience that celebrates the legacy of the iconic musician, Prince. Through paint pouring, guests can unleash their creativity and honor the Purple One in a fun and innovative way. Join us for an unforgettable experience and feel the joy of giving back as 50% of the proceeds benefit Project SMILE Summer Youth Enrichment Program and the other 50% benefit Prince Day Houston celebration community efforts. Garden Adventures

Garden Adventures is an exciting program that introduces children aged 8-14 to the joys of gardening in the heart of Houston's Historic Emancipation Park. With hands-on experience at the nearby Blodgett Urban Garden, childrenwill learn everything from the basics of gardening to harvesting their own fruits and vegetables. Through fun and interactive activities, Garden Adventures will inspire a lifelong love of nature and healthy eating habits.

Creating Memorable Moments That Bring Smiles to Your Face

Welcome to Project SMILE's Special Events page! We are excited to announce our upcoming events that are designed to help uplift and heal communities.

 

First up is the Africa in April Festival Special Event happening in Memphis, TN from April 21st-23rd, 2023. This festival celebrates the rich culture and history of Africa, and we are thrilled to be a part of it. Be sure to stop by our booth to learn more about our mission and ways you can get involved.

 

Next, we have the Canvas of Resilience: A Painting Experience for Healing and Growth taking place from July 5th-8th, 2023 in Amory, MS. This event is for anyone looking to tap into their creative side while also processing any emotions they may be experiencing, especially for those affected by the recent tornado. Sign up now to reserve your spot and take the first step towards healing.

 

We are also excited to host Unleashed Creativity: A Painting Experience for EUROHA Class Reunion on June 30th & July 1st, 2023, in Hattiesburg, MS. This event is open to all high school classes especially the Class of 1984. Come and join us for a unique painting experience that encourages creativity without using a paintbrush.

 

Lastly, we have Grow, Create, Inspire: A Summer Enrichment Experience for ages 8 to 14 years old happening in Hattiesburg, MS from July 10th-14th, 2023. This week-long program is designed to provide dental hygiene education, arts (painting & creative writing), container gardening, and an open house (art show/marketplace) for children to showcase their talents.
